G.Guard load arresters are a heavy-duty type preventive block for protection of the device suspended at high altitude. These load arresters are available in 300kg, 500kg and 1000kg versions.

Our G.Guard load arresters are heavy-duty type fall arresters designed to prevent lifted loads from falling to the ground in the event of an accident that may occur in the system. Our load arresters consist of versions that catch loads of 150kg, 300kg, 500kg, 800kg, 1000kg and 1500kg.

All models of G.Guard load arresters have high-quality galvanized steel rope as standard. Stainless steel rope is offered as an option. In case of stainless steel rope installation of load arresters, their capacity is recalculated.

Load arresters are used in conjunction with a primary lifting device or support, such as a lift or crane. They provide a secondary safety support. If the primary support fails, the load arrester (fall arrester) will automatically stop the load from falling, thus protecting the load from damage and, more importantly, protecting people below.

Globestock’s G.Guard load arresters (retractable fall arresters) move with the load. This means that G.Guard load arresters can be fitted to equipment that needs to be moved (dynamic loads) as well as to loads that are stationary (static).

G.Guard load arresters are a cost-effective and simple way to manage risk. Load arresters are increasingly being used as an effective protective measure and protection measure under EN 17206:2020.
